Today I’m writing about the third and last hiking suggestion from our vacation in Bavaria. We take the Bernadein path to the mountain station of the Alpspitzbahn and the AlpspiX viewing platform! 🙂
Today I have a simple and very nice hiking suggestion: we are going to hike around the Eibsee lake and then go the top of the Zugspitze using the ropeway or the rack railway! 🙂
Not far from Garmisch-Partenkirchen lies one of the most famous gorges in the entire Alpine region. For thousands of years, the turquoise-colored Partnach has eaten its way deep into the soft rock, leaving behind a narrow valley with spectacular views of steep rock faces.
Hot air balloons are always a good photo motif. We had already intended to go to the Warsteiner International Montgolfiade in 2017, and this year it finally worked out 🙂
There’s no shortage of hiking trails in the Black Forest, and on some you can walk in the footsteps of history. Twelve kilometers and 750 meters in altitude bring us closer to the history of hydroelectric power in Baden-Württemberg 🙂
We could hardly believe our luck: An actual Lost Place, in the middle of a residential area, almost on our doorstep. But what had been produced here?
